SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

—Subject+V1 or V1(s,es)+Object

—E.G. 1.Grandma bakes a cake.

—A cake is baked by grandma.

—She decorates her house.

—Her house is decorated by her.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE

—Present  Continuous Tense

—S+ Helping Verb(is,am,are) +V1(ing) +O

—O+HV+being+V3+by+S

—1. You are packing your bag.

     Your bag is being packed by you.

—2. She is painting the vase.

     The vase is being painted by her.

PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

—S+ Helping Verb ( has, have)+V3+ O

—O+HV+been+V3+by +S

—1. He has written many novels.

        Many novels have been written by him.

—2. That car has hit an old man.

        An old man has been hit by that car.

—3. The gardener has not pruned the bushes.

        The bushes have not been pruned by the gardener.

SIMPLE PAST TENSE

—O+ HV( was, were )+V3+ by +S

—S+ did+ not+V1+O

—O+ HV ( was, were)+ not +by +S

—1.All the children planted trees.

        Trees were planted by all the children.

—2. She did not bake a chocolate cake.

        A chocolate cake was not baked by her.

PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE

—S+HV(was,were) +V1(ing)+O

—O+ HV+being+V3+by+S

—1. You were packing your bag.

        Your bag was being packed by you.

—2. She was drinking milk.

        Milk was being drunk by her.

—3. They were not having lunch.

        Lunch was not being had by them.

PAST PERFECT TENSE

—O+HV(had)+been+V3+S

—1. I had painted my room.

       My room had been painted by me.

—2. Her teacher had taught her a lesson.

        She had been taught a lesson by her teacher.

—3. She had not kept her word.

        Her word had not been kept by her.

SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE

—S+HV(will,shall) +V1+O

—O+HV(will be,shall be)+V3+by+S

—1.I shall make sandwiches in the evening.

       Sandwiches will be made by me in the evening.

—2. They will construct the bridge.

        The bridge will be constructed by them.

—3. The loud music will not disturb my friend.

        My friend will not be disturbed by the loud music.

FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

—Verbs in the future continuous tense can not be changed to the passive voice.

FUTURE PERFECT TENSE

—S+HV(will have. Shall have) +V3+O

—O+ HV(will have been, shall have been) + V3+S

—1. He will have consulted a doctor before 8PM.

        A doctor will have been consulted by him before 8PM.

—2. She will not have washed the dishes before evening.

         The dishes will not have been washed by her before evening.
